We are currently carrying out clinical tests to commercialize our treatments of acute brain infarction, acute cerebral infarction and spinal cord injuries. Clinically tested stem cell treatment drugs are derived from bone marrow blood. These stem cells are then cultivated and produced into mesenchymal stem cells, which are extracted from a patient that are then re-injected into the very patient without any ethical or rejection problems when immunizing. We plan to replace using simple procreated stem cell technology with our own nerve and blood cell division technology when developing much advanced cell treatment drugs.

FCB-Pharmicell has focused solely on research and development of stem cell drugs since 2002, when first Pharmicell was established. As a result, by the end of year 2007, we have been authorized by KFDA to perform 3 approved clinical trials before its commercialization. We still work hard in expanding adaptation of mesenchymal stem cells and blood stem cells on cell treatment drugs to help treatment of new disorders.

Cell therapy products including stem cell drugs are defined as medical products that aim to treat, diagnose and prevent disorders through a more-than-minimal manipulation of a cell's biological characteristic by procreating or selecting autologous, allogeneic or xenogeneic cells to revive the cell and its structural function(Rules on the authorization and evaluation of biological medicine: KFDA notification 2005-29). Therefore stem cell drugs have to receive authorization of clinical tests and its contents from the KFDA, according to medical law. FCB-Pharmicell is in the process of commercializing clinical tests III and II/III to make then into stem cell drug products, and plans to receive authorization on these 3 products.
