Pulmonary fibrosis is a disorder where lungs that are normally soft like a balloon turn hard making it hard to breathe or change into a balloon that seems like it might burst, for some reason. Treatments offered are immunosuppressants, steroids or cytotoxic drugs or emulsification drugs, but there is no solid proof that these treatment methods elongate life or raise the quality of life. If no reaction is found to these drugs the patient has the choice of a lung transplant, but Korea does not have much experience with lung transplants. |

Pneumonitis lung disorders, especially, pulmonary fibrosis, are terminal disorders, and FCB-Pharmicell plans to finish all pre-clinical trials by 2008 and carry out human clinical trials as promptly as possible. We plan to produce products based on human clinical trial results. |
