Twelve Baby is a service that extracts and stores cord blood that can be used to treat not only simple bone marrow transplantation but incurable diseases in the future. The cord blood that is entrusted to our company is based on an in-depth experience in cell therapy research and development that minimizes damage and is stored in the most suitable condition for future manufacture of therapeutics.
Twelve baby was established in June 2003, located within the Yonsei University Wonju Catholic Hospital performing as a stem cell research institute as well as a cell therapeutics center. Twelve baby focuses on both cell treatment and storage businesses.
For safe transporting and storage of cells, we have expanded our operations within certain regions in the metropolitan area including Seoul, Kyunggido, Kangwondo and Choongchungdo, with focus on the Wonju Center. Further, we plan to establish stem cell treatment centers in each key region to expand our services nationwide.
Twelve baby was established through a strategic partnership with Yonsei University Wonju Catholic Hospital. With adult stem cell research we have built a solid background in accumulated know-how, technology and client trust and will advance to become the top cord blood bank through continuous progress.
